Join us in the studio for a Halloween-inspired twist on still life drawing! Artist educator Suela Prendi will guide this drop-in session, where curious plants and a few spooky surprises set the stage. Use contact microphones to capture vibrations and create an eerie soundtrack as you draw. Come play with shapes and shadows – if you dare!

Community Conversation: Beyond the Checkup: Women’s Health and Advocacy for a Stronger Future

6:30pm – 7pm, 3rd floor galleries

Organized by the Windsor Essex Housing Corporation and Canadian Mental Heath Association Windsor Essex County

Women’s health extends far beyond the exam room. This dynamic discussion brings together leaders from the Windsor Essex Ontario Health Team, Windsor Regional Hospital’s Cancer Program, and experts from the Windsor Essex Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) to explore how prevention, early cancer screening, and strong advocacy can shape healthier outcomes for women. Together, these panelists will discuss the barriers women face in accessing care, the innovations transforming primary care, mental health, and the powerful role advocacy plays in building a stronger, healthier future for all women.

Speakers: Joyce Zuk, Cristina Taranto, Diane Marley, Nicole Sbrocca
