Join us for a fun-filled series of six, one-day art camps designed for young artists! Each day brings new hands-on art activities led by our AWE-some instructors, and time to explore current exhibitions for new inspiration. Attend one day or all six, each day is a new experience! Step into a new world as campers create fun scenes and stories using green screen magic.
Explore animation and digital drawing while creating art on tablets, instead of paper.
Get messy and creative while experimenting with colours, brushes, and different painting techniques.
Build, shape, twist, and sculpt imaginative creations using clay and found objects.
Turn everyday cardboard into an amazing city filled with buildings, roads, and ideas. Learn how to use a Chompsaw and tools!
Discover art inspired by nature through outdoor exploration and natural materials.

We welcome campers between 6 and 12 years old.
Each camp, young artists will tour a new exhibition and draw inspiration from artwork they find in the gallery. Throughout the day, our experienced instructors will guide participants through a range of hands-on activities. In addition, campers will spend time outdoors at the park!
8:30am: Early drop-offs only.
9 am: Drop off at front doors for all campers.
9 am to 12 pm: Campers are in the education studio or in the gallery exploring exhibitions. Snack break at 10am.
12pm to 1pm: Lunch and recess at the park.
1 to 4 pm: Campers are in the education studio or in the gallery exploring exhibitions. Snack break mid-afternoon.
4pm: Pick up at front doors.
4:30pm: Late pick-ups only.
Please pack:
All art supplies provided but we encourage you to bring a personal sketchbook. Note: Please leave all electronics at home.
Drop-off is at 9am. The front doors will be locked to the general public until 10am. An AWE staff member will greet you at the front door for check-in and lead campers to the 2nd floor Education Studio.
Pick-up is at 4pm. The campers will meet parents and guardians at the front door at the main entrance of the gallery.

All cancellation requests must be received in writing by email to [email protected] or via Eventbrite. Art Windsor-Essex reserves the right to cancel or combine programs if minimum registrations are not achieved 14 days prior to a camp’s start date. Full refunds will be made in the event of program cancellation.
