Seniors Program: Flashlight Tour and Watercolour Landscapes

    • Art Workshop: 2nd floor education studio
  • Cost: Pay-What-You-Can (suggested $10) 

Online pre-registration required; pay-what-you can. New for 2025! AWE is introducing a pay-what-you-can registration fee for education programs. Your registration fee includes instruction and materials. This does not include admission to the gallery. General admission to AWE is $10. General admission is free for current AWE members.

Join AWE educators for a guided tour of Mary Anne Barkhouse: Ndishnikaaz | Nugwa’am | My name is. Explore the animals, plants, and landscapes woven into Barkhouse’s intricate tapestries, and discover how her art connects nature and ecology. Artist-educator Sandra Ellis will show us how to create watercolour landscapes inspired by the exhibition.

All materials and art supplies provided. Stick around for some tea and coffee, and great conversation!
