Join us for an in-person wellness workshop led by Ainslee Winter! Through creative exploration and hands-on artmaking, this workshop invites you to slow down, connect with others and yourself and nurture both mind and body.
What is quietly asking for my attention as this year begins? As we embrace the cold season of winter; may I invite you to hibernate with us in a warm, cozy, quiet, and reflective space?
Set your intentions for the year ahead, as you listen to the deep whisper within. Together, we will journey and adventure using different objects, colours, and items in our environment as our inspiration to note what flirts with our eye. Take time to notice the quiet nudges that are yearning to be heard and validated.
You may choose to explore a variety of themes, which may resemble the following:
- What feeling do I want to spend more time with this year?
- If this year had a gentle direction rather than a goal, what would it be?
- What supports help me feel steadier, safer, or more myself?
This art making is process based and inspired by my background in art therapy. You may choose to use a variety of art mediums, including: collage, drawing, painting, etc. You will also be encouraged to take a brief walk around the gallery, to gather inspiration and collect a recording of visual stimuli that is connected to your intention for the session. Join our compassionate community for a nourishing way to start off 2026.
No art experience is needed!
