This community conversation is organized by the Detroit River Project.
The Detroit River has always been a place of passage – of people, ideas, and possibility. As the Gordie Howe International Bridge nears completion, new parks and cycling routes open, and cross-border rail service set to return from Detroit to Windsor and onward to Toronto, our region is entering a moment of transformation. This community conversation explores transnationalism, shifting borders, and the new ways we move and connect across the river. How are art installations, infrastructure, and reopened rail lines are expanding our sense of connection and creating new opportunities for shared futures?
