The studio is moving outside this week, with artist Meaghan Sweeney as your guide to fun bubble creations. Using the unique texture bubbles create on paper, you’ll experiment with the possibilities between bubbles and paint!

Note: Weekends in the Studio! will take place outside on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14 for WIFF Under the Stars. Find us in the front lawn of the Aquatic Centre!

About the Artist: Meaghan Sweeney

Meaghan Sweeney (She/They) is a contemporary mixed media artist based in Windsor-Essex. Her work is an introspective exploration of self, analyzing themes of values, personal philosophy, identity, and lived experience with mental illness. They received their BFA in Fine Arts at the University of Windsor in 2021. She has a strong passion for mental health advocacy and using art as a tool for connection, healing, and community building.
