In anticipation of the upcoming municipal election, this workshop will explore the importance of delegating to City Council and provide an overview of the process. Participants will learn the fundamentals of preparing and delivering an effective delegation, as well as key considerations for communicating their perspectives clearly and persuasively. Whether you’re new to civic engagement or looking to strengthen your advocacy skills, this session will help you make your voice heard in local decision-making.
Engage Windsor is a non-partisan community organization dedicated to empowering Windsor residents to play an active role in local government and civic life. The group works to increase public engagement, promote transparency and accountability at City Hall, and help residents better understand municipal issues through community events, educational initiatives, surveys, and advocacy efforts. By fostering informed public participation, Engage Windsor aims to strengthen local democracy and improve the quality of life for people across Windsor.
