Got a green thumb? Join us in the studio for a gardening workshop! Learn how to repot, transplant and grow native plant species from Amanda White’s living installation, A Breathing Room (2015-2022).
A Breathing Room houses the number of plants (approximately 300!) necessary for one person to breathe symbiotically with plant life. Amanda White’s work sits at the intersection of art, environment, and cultural studies. Make and take seed bombs that will bring local flowers to our communities. These small pods are perfect for tossing anywhere that needs an extra burst of flowers. Watch as our community blossoms!

COST:
- Current AWE and/or Museum Windsor Members: Free admission to both Art Windsor-Essex and the Chimczuk Museum
- Non-Members: $13.25 – Admission to both Art Windsor-Essex and the Chimczuk Museum
