Art Windsor-Essex respectively acknowledges that we are located on Anishinaabe Territory – the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Today the Anishinaabe of the Three Fires Confederacy are represented by Bkejwanong. We want to state our respect for the ancestral and ongoing authority of Walpole Island First Nation over its Territory.

Teen Art Display 2023
After every prologue comes a story, and after every story is an epilogue. Be the author of your own story. AWE’s Teen Arts Council is organizing an art display titled “Prologues and Epilogues“, dedicated to showcasing artworks made by teens (ages 14-18) in the Windsor-Essex community. The display theme is past, present, and future referring to the transitional time period that is experienced in adolescent years.
Your artwork should creatively reflect your interpretation of transitions and times of change. Time is moving very quickly. Why not capture it in a work of art?
