On Saturday July 20, 2024- Sunday July 21, 2024 Art Windsor-Essex is excited to co-present the second ever Amherstburg Art Crawl in historic downtown Amherstburg. Join the festivities each day between 11:30am-4pm as several events and performances take place as a part of the Amherstburg Art Crawl!
On, Saturday July 20, 2024, the celebrations will begin in Art Alley where artists, and musicians will be playing for audiences, and those in attendance will experience the the unveiling a Children’s Mural in Art Alley. This first Art Crawl ends at Gibson Gallery. Next up, between 1-2:30pm, are performances by Rivertown Dance Academy, art lessons held by Art Windsor-Essex on Murray Street, and a children’s art contest at River Bookshop! The second Art Crawl begins at 2pm and the event on Saturday ends with the opportunity to interact with 10 local authors at the “Hole in the Wall’’ above River Bookshop!
And on Sunday July 21, 2024, the Art Crawl continues with even more performances, a special story time at River Bookshop, more art lessons from AWE and the weekend festival culminates in a summer’s eve Brass Quintent concert in Navy Yard Park presented by Windsor Symphony Orchestra.
