On December 15, AWE will be open late from 5-9 pm for AWE at Night featuring art activities, community conversations, food and beverage as well as lively entertainment. Come on out for the beautiful views – both inside and out!
Studio Activity with the Teen Arts Council ⎮ 5pm – 9pm, 2nd floor
Join Education Assistant Catherine Hois and members of the AWE Teen Art Council in the 2nd floor Education Studio to create festive holiday ornaments! Celebrate the season and create your very own holiday ornaments and decorations.
Flashlight Tour with Spencer Montcalm ⎮ 6pm – 6:30pm, 3rd floor
Curator Spencer Montcalm will shed some light on AWE’s permanent collection during a flashlight tour of Restored Treasures Part 2. Use your flashlight and uncover the hidden secrets behind AWE’s treasures and learn what happens behind the scenes at AWE.
Community Conversation ⎮ 6:30pm – 7pm, 3rd floor
From giving time to money, these amazing AWE partners are among those giving back to our community daily. Find out what drives them to be philanthropic leaders and how arts and culture contribute to a thriving community. Join us for Ways of Giving Back: A Community Conversation. We encourage engagement and respectful, curious questions about the topic of this conversation. We look forward to welcoming our community into this important conversation!
Music, food, and drink ⎮ 7pm – 9pm, 3rd floor
Let’s celebrate! Head up to the third floor to join us for music, food and drinks provided by Windsor Eats and CJAM 99.1 FM.
Admission is Free. Attendees can make a monetary contribution to AWE or donate non-perishable items to support CBC’s Sounds of the Season. All non-perishable donations will be donated in support of the Windsor-Essex Food Bank Association.
