To celebrate Pride, AWE is partnering with Trans Wellness Ontario to showcase artworks made by local 2SLGBTQIA+ community members and our allies.
Do you want to display your work in our community space? Please read the submission guidelines below. AWE wants to encourage community members of all ages and skill levels to submit their work.
This community display is presented by Art Windsor-Essex in partnership with Trans Wellness Ontario.
1. Physical Submissions: Drop off your work at Trans Wellness Ontario on Mondays from 12pm to 7pm. On the back of your work, write your name (first and last), the title of the work, the materials/medium, and year. You can submit 2D works on paper or canvas (drawings, photography, paintings) or 3D works (sculpture, mixed media). Works will be installed with magnets on a magnet wall – unframed works preferred.
2. Digital Submissions: Attach any digital submissions (photographs, videos, gifs, music, scans, images, etc.) and send them via email to Sophie Hinch at shinch@artwindsoressex.ca. Please include your name (first and last), the title of the work, the materials/medium, and year in your email.
3. By Mail: Send your work by mail to 401 Riverside Drive West, Windsor ON N9A 7J1. Please label the back of your work with your name (first and last), the title of the work, the materials/medium, and year.
