Learning Nature Through Art with Andrea Bresolin

Join AWE Emerging Artist in Residence Andrea Bresolin for a guided hike through Ojibway Park. Andrea will introduce participants to INaturalist, an AI app that can identify plants, animals, and mushrooms. Learn how these photos can be used as valuable data for scientists. Participants will be invited to document their walk through photography, writing, or drawing. After the guided walk, explore the Ojibway Nature Centre’s current displays.

Meet the Artist: Andrea Bresolin
Andrea Bresolin (she/her) is an emerging multimedia artist based in Windsor, Ontario. They completed a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology at the University of Windsor, during which they contributed artwork and held a leadership role for Science Meets Art, a student-led initiative. Their experience in science lends accuracy to their art, which explores science topics and depicts local ecosystems.
