Photography Primer with Kamryn Cusamano

This program is open to youth, teens and families from Sandwich Town and Windsor West.

Free lunch will be served 12-1PM everyday. 

March 16 w/ Kamryn Cusamano – Photography Primer 

Learn the basics of digital photography with professional photographer, Kamryn Cusamano.

Kamryn is a published photographer from Windsor, Ont. Her work can be found in Canadian Art Magazine, Roots Canada, Music Works Magazine, Rock and Folk Magazine and Windsor Life Magazine. Her work focuses mainly on portraits, branding and band photography. Kamryn has a unique approach to capturing portraits and is excited to share her love of photography with the community at the Sandwich Visionaries Program!

 

In this workshop Kamryn will:

  • Guide students through a quick tutorial on the camera and its basic functions.

  • Briefly discuss different types of photography and share an introduction to her approach to the medium.

  • Participants will learn different composition styles, lighting techniques and have a chance to practice these with a camera provided.

  • Kamryn will send the participants off on a photography scavenger hunt where they will be tasked to find and capture images and practice what was learned.

  • Kamryn will be available for individual questions and mentorship during the scavenger hunt.

  • There will be a group discussion following the scavenger hunt where each member will get an opportunity to share their favourite images with the group.
