Seniors Program: Hand-Building Pottery with Ford City Potters

Location: Art Windsor-Essex (401 Riverside Dr. W, Windsor) 2nd floor Education Studio

Cost: Pay-what-you-can

Retail price for this workshop is $90. New for 2025! AWE is introducing a pay-what-you-can registration fee for education programs. Your registration fee includes instruction and all materials. This does not include admission to the gallery. General admission to AWE is $10. General admission is free for current AWE members.

Get your hands dirty with Ford City Potters! Join us in the studio for a hand-building ceramic workshop at AWE. We will experiment with hand-building techniques to create a ceramic toad! No experience required; all skill levels are welcome!

All materials are included, along with glazing and firing of your piece. Finished projects will be ready for pick-up a few weeks after the workshop.

  • Learn hand-building techniques
  • Explore personal creativity by designing and shaping a unique ceramic piece
  • Build confidence working with clay in a supportive, community-focused studio setting

Windsor’s only full-service pottery studio is opening in the heart of Ford City this spring, equipped with everything you need to create your own beautiful pottery. We offer wheel and hand-building classes, workshops, corporate events, and monthly memberships for potters of all skill levels.
