Art Windsor-Essex respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Anishinaabe Territory – the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Today the Anishinaabe of the Three Fires Confederacy are represented by Bkejwanong. We want to state our respect for the ancestral and ongoing authority of Walpole Island First Nation over its Territory.

Michelle Dobrin
Michelle is a self-taught fiber artist specializing in non-traditional quilted wall hangings since 1997. Originally inspired by her background in biology, her work has evolved to incorporate a wide range of subjects and materials. She blends traditional quilting techniques with vibrant fibers like painted cheesecloth, Tyvek, and frilly yarns to create rich textures and visual depth. Constantly experimenting with new forms and textiles, Michelle’s work continues to evolve in exciting ways.

The Seniors Council is supported by the Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility through the Seniors Community Grant program.
