Sobia Hussain is creative entrepreneur & marketing strategist based in LaSalle, Ontario. She founded her artisan skincare business, The Olive Tree Soap Company, in 2011 and recently launched her marketing agency, Vicuna Media. Things that currently peak her curiosity: storytelling, movement and pottery!
“I’ve always loved all things handcrafted. There is so much love and energy that goes into the items. It’s not mass produced. It’s made with the finest care and thought. There is so much more to a product than what the eyes can see. It’s what you can feel inside – that’s where you “see” it. This is what soapmaking is all about for me. Not just a bar of soap but a work of art. It not only nourishes the body but the body and soul. As a environmental enthusiast, I ensure that my products are sustainable and eco-friendly as well.”
