From learning how to avoid scams and protecting against online fraud to safely using apps, smartphones and social media, TELUS Wise® helps adults of all ages confidently navigate the digital world, ensuring their safety, privacy, and well-being online.

TELUS Wise® is a free digital literacy education program that helps people of all ages have a positive experience as digital citizens. Workshops and online resources cover topics, including protecting your online security, privacy, reputation, rising above cyberbullying and using technology responsibly. Endorsed by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police, TELUS Wise has reached more than 765,000 participants through educational and informative workshops and resources.

About the Facilitator: Laura McCabe

Laura McCabe is the Senior Project Manager and Marketing Lead at Connecting Windsor-Essex, where she helps bring people, processes, and technology together in meaningful (and fun!) ways. A certified TELUS Wise Ambassador, Laura is passionate about making digital literacy approachable for everyday people—covering topics from online safety and cybersecurity to digital citizenship and wellbeing.
