- $250 / camper (5 days)

Join us for a creative adventure! Our Summer Art Camp is the perfect opportunity for budding artists to learn new techniques, express themselves, and make new friends who share their passion for art. Throughout the week, our experienced instructors will guide participants through a range of hands-on activities, including painting, drawing, sculpting, and more.

Click on the registration above or on this link. You will be taken to a Microsoft Form. Fill out all the details and submit your form. You will be able to save a copy of your response or print a copy for your records. After submitting your form, proceed to payment. At this time, AWE can accept payment by e-transfer to sales@agw.ca, by credit card over the phone, or in person at the galelry before camp begins.
We welcome campers between 6 and 12 years old.
Throughout the week, our experienced instructors will guide participants through a range of hands-on activities, including painting (from watercolours to acrylics), drawing (from pastels to pencils), sculpting (with clay and recycled materials), and much, much more (experiments, collaborative installations and projects, collage, textiles…). Each day, campers will tour a new exhibition and draw inspiration from artwork they find in the gallery. In addition, campers will spend time outdoors at the park!
9 am: Drop off at front doors.
9 am to 12 pm: Campers are in the education studio or in the gallery exploring exhibitions. Snack break at 10am.
12pm to 1pm: Lunch and recess at the park.
1 to 4 pm: Campers are in the education studio or in the gallery exploring exhibitions. Snack break mid-afternoon.
4pm: Pick up at front doors.
Please pack a peanut-free lunch and snacks, a backpack, a reusable water bottle, outdoor gear (coat, hat), a sweater (it gets cold in the gallery!), a smock or apron, a change of clothes (things might get messy!). All art supplies provided but we encourage you to bring a personal sketchbook. Note: Please leave all electronics at home.
Drop-off is between 9am and 9:15am. The front doors will be locked to the general public. An AWE staff member will greet you at the front door for check-in and lead them to the 2nd floor. Pick-up is between 4pm and 4:15pm. The campers will meet parents and guardians at the front door at the main entrance of the gallery.
AWE is fully accessible. Masks are optional while at AWE. Safety measures will be followed. To inquire about accessibility or accommodations please email Sophie Hinch at shinch@artwindsoressex.ca.
All cancellation requests must be received in writing by email to shinch@artwindsoressex.ca. Art Windsor-Essex reserves the right to cancel or combine programs if minimum registrations are not achieved 14 days prior to a camp’s start date. Full refunds will be made in the event of program cancellation.
