This session, we will explore self-compassion through meditation, reflection, and art-making! As an extension from our previous sessions focused on processing emotions and thoughts, we will create a safe space rooted in compassion. This is an important part of nurturing ourselves as we process our everyday lives, challenges, and tribulation. Participate in the self-compassion meditation, and explore your emotions through art making! How can we can treat ourselves with compassion and care?
We encourage you to grab your most nurturing art materials. Consider what colours and textures bring a sense of warmth to your heart? This heart felt practice teaches us to soften towards ourselves, and the inherent power within this process. We look forward to you joining us! No art experience needed!
Materials:
- Paper/Journal/Sketchbook
- Writing/Drawing tools (pencils, markers, pastels, paints etc.)
Optional Materials:
- Anything you have at home or feel drawn to use.
