Art Windsor-Essex respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Anishinaabe Territory – the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Today the Anishinaabe of the Three Fires Confederacy are represented by Bkejwanong. We want to state our respect for the ancestral and ongoing authority of Walpole Island First Nation over its Territory.

This workshop will allow you to use a variety of different collage and drawing materials to create flower petals and to write about a memory of theirs on it. These memory petals will then be layered to create a 3-dimensional flower craft, representing how our memories and experiences shape who we are and make us grow like flowers. This workshop will be open-ended and will allow guests to approach collage work in a unique way.
