Art Windsor-Essex respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Anishinaabe Territory – the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Today the Anishinaabe of the Three Fires Confederacy are represented by Bkejwanong. We want to state our respect for the ancestral and ongoing authority of Walpole Island First Nation over its Territory.

Explore the ways printmaking can incorporate unique household objects and create stunning works of art on paper, fabric, and more.
Have you always wanted to try printmaking but don’t know where to begin? In this studio session you will explore relief printing by carving into a common household object – a rubber eraser!
Meet the Artist: Kristina Bradt
Kristina Bradt (she/her) is a canadian multidisciplinary artist working primarily in printmaking, painting and installation. Her work takes inspiration from personal memories, navigating complex themes from individual and collective experiences of labor, relationships, and leisure. Kristina considers her work to fall under the guise of what she calls ‘still life storytelling,’ depicting objects and environments that are often disregarded, prompting viewers to ask the simple question of ‘why?’ She is the curator of the Tiny Art Vending Machine and is currently on month #6 of her year long print challenge to create 366 prints by the end of 2024.
