Weekends in the Studio! For the Love of Collage with Meaghan Sweeney

Join Meaghan Sweeney at Art Windsor-Essex on Saturdays in the Studio this September! Using inspiration from the work displayed at the gallery, Sweeney will facilitate fun and spontaneous experimentation using textures.
Participants will create collages using the theme ‘Love’ as a guide. Special attention will be given to the use of multiple textures to create a multi-sensory experience of art. This weekend’s art activity is inspired by the exhibition Love Languages currently on display at AWE.
Meet the Artist: Meaghan Sweeney
Meaghan Sweeney (She/They) is a contemporary mixed media artist based in Windsor-Essex. Their work is an introspective exploration of self, analyzing themes of values, personal philosophy, identity, and mental illness. Sweeney also has a strong passion for mental health advocacy and using art as a tool for connection, healing, and community building.
