Participants will use different objects as ‘stamps’ to create a mosaic style image featuring a landscape, portrait, or still life subject matter. This activity engages problem solving skills and promotes creative thinking by asking the question: is there anything I can’t print?
Kristina Bradt (she/her) is a canadian multidisciplinary artist working primarily in printmaking, painting and installation. Her work takes inspiration from personal memories, navigating complex themes from individual and collective experiences of labor, relationships, and leisure. Kristina considers her work to fall under the guise of what she calls ‘still life storytelling,’ depicting objects and environments that are often disregarded, prompting viewers to ask the simple question of ‘why?’ She is the curator of the Tiny Art Vending Machine and is currently on month #6 of her year long print challenge to create 366 prints by the end of 2024.
