Get creative with Marla Howard at AWE this March! Explore new art-making techniques and tools, and be inspired by current exhibitions. 

This Saturday, dive into a world of bright colors and bold patterns! Join us in the studio as we explore vibrant designs and create rangoli-inspired art. Rangoli is a traditional art form from India, typically made with colorful powders, rice, or sand, often used to decorate floors during celebrations. Let your creativity flow with eye-catching patterns and bursts of color!

Meet the Artist: Marla Howard

Marla Howard was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. She attended Concordia University where she obtained her BFA Major in Art Education. Marla worked in LTC Nursing home for 22 years. She continues to work with Community groups and Organizations implementing Creative Art sessions, Marla describes herself as an out -of-box thinker and maker.
