Join Meaghan Sweeney at Art Windsor-Essex on Saturdays in the Studio this September! Using inspiration from the work displayed at the gallery, Sweeney will facilitate fun and spontaneous experimentation using textures.
Taking inspiration from the exhibition Mary Wrinch: Painted from Life currently on display at AWE, participants will paint from life while being guided on how to create a variety of textures using watercolour paints. Discover the playfulness, sponteneity, and fun of watercolours!
Meet the Artist: Meaghan Sweeney
Meaghan Sweeney (She/They) is a contemporary mixed media artist based in Windsor-Essex. Their work is an introspective exploration of self, analyzing themes of values, personal philosophy, identity, and mental illness. Sweeney also has a strong passion for mental health advocacy and using art as a tool for connection, healing, and community building.
