The interns are taking over! Join Hailley, Allysa and Sabrina in the studio to create works of art inspired by our current exhibitions. No artistic experience required! See you there!

Based on the exhibition, ‘The Once and Future City’, explore what your cityscape looks like! Play with watercolour paints to illuminate the sky and shape the buildings that make up the city.

Create a heartfelt friendship bracelet for someone special! These yarn bracelets are easy to learn and make. Join us in the studio to fashion a charming token of appreciation for someone dear to you!

Did you know you can create yarn from recycled plastic bags and found fabric? Sabrina will show you how to transform a variety of materials into usable yarn to knit, knot, and weave. Learn simple, easy-to-follow crochet techniques.
Sunday, February 25, 1pm-4pm: Embroidery Techniques with Sabrina and Allysa
This week, it’s all about embroidery. Use a variety of materials to embroider cardboard, paper, felt and fabric with yarn, rope, ribbon and more! Create intricate patterns or decorate your works of art with simple lines and colour. This is a beginner-friendly workshop, all skill levels welcome!
Meet Hailley Smeltzer
Hailley Smeltzer is an aspiring artist from the University of Windsor. She enjoys exploring different mediums and playing around with unconventional materials. Her favourite part of creating is sharing the joy of art with others around her.
Meet Allysa Batin
Allysa Batin is a freelance illustrator and University of Windsor undergraduate. She enjoys crafting vibrant and whimsical characters while advocating for themes of love and acceptance through her art. Her favourite pastimes include hosting Dungeons & Dragons and taking pictures of her dog.
Meet Sabrina Muscat
Sabrina Muscat is a Second Year Bachelor of Visual Arts student at the University of Windsor. She specializes in painting and textiles. Some of her pass-times include reading, cycling, crocheting, embroidery, and thrifting.
