Art Windsor-Essex respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Anishinaabe Territory – the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Today the Anishinaabe of the Three Fires Confederacy are represented by Bkejwanong. We want to state our respect for the ancestral and ongoing authority of Walpole Island First Nation over its Territory.

Jamie Greer is a Windsor musician and writer, who for nearly 20 years was a music journalist/historian for multiple publications in the city. In 2016, he turned to writing about his childhood love, professional wrestling, writing for the likes Last Word on Pro Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Illustrated. During the pandemic, he began researching Windsor’s connection to pro wrestling, including having two Windsorites in the WWE Hall of Fame, and uncovered over 100 years of history, including a nearly 60-year run of cards at Windsor Arena. This research will be utilized in an upcoming book, “Killers, Butchers, Cry-Babys & Canadian Destroyers: The History of Pro Wrestling in Windsor, Ontario”. Buy the book.
