Art Windsor-Essex respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Anishinaabe Territory – the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Today the Anishinaabe of the Three Fires Confederacy are represented by Bkejwanong. We want to state our respect for the ancestral and ongoing authority of Walpole Island First Nation over its Territory.

September 13, 2003 - November 23, 2003
AWE Gallery
Coinciding with our 60th anniversary, the AGW presents Celebrating 60 Years of Collecting, 1943 – 2003 an exhibition of works from our vaults that reflect the collecting practices of the Gallery from its beginnings in Willistead Manor to the present. In November, a larger exhibition creatively juxtaposes unique and out-of-the-ordinary artworks and objects from our collection of fine and decorative works with one another.
