Art Windsor-Essex respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Anishinaabe Territory – the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Today the Anishinaabe of the Three Fires Confederacy are represented by Bkejwanong. We want to state our respect for the ancestral and ongoing authority of Walpole Island First Nation over its Territory.

Art Windsor-Essex is pleased to work with the WSO on presenting water themed works from our collection to accompany the performance of Robert Rival’s Symphony No. 2 “Water”.
This project blends images of works from our collection that have been modified with digital and traditional artistic processes like AI animation and collage together with the composer’s own photographs to create a unique collaboration between Art Windsor-Essex and the WSO.
Our popular weekends in the studio program, where people of all ages are invited to explore their creative side has been the foundation of this project for us. Collages from January’s participants can be seen throughout the presentation.
