Art Windsor-Essex respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Anishinaabe Territory – the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Today the Anishinaabe of the Three Fires Confederacy are represented by Bkejwanong. We want to state our respect for the ancestral and ongoing authority of Walpole Island First Nation over its Territory.

AWE Gallery
Greatest Hits, Volume II charts the origins of abstraction and contemporary art from the 1950s to the present day, revealing its evolution through various stylistic periods and providing evidence of some alternative approaches to artmaking during this era. Like the collection itself, this exhibition will change over time, allowing the viewer a chance to compare and contrast work that typically would not be seen together.
