Art Windsor-Essex respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Anishinaabe Territory – the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Today the Anishinaabe of the Three Fires Confederacy are represented by Bkejwanong. We want to state our respect for the ancestral and ongoing authority of Walpole Island First Nation over its Territory.

AWE Gallery
This exhibit celebrates works creates by the talented young artists who participate in Gallery programs and workshops such as SeeMore Art Day, Fridays Live!, March Break, summer art camps, and studio activities. The AGW will be showing Kids’Hibit, a rotating display of paintings, sculptures, and drawings, which will eventually adorn the first floor of the Gallery’s public areas. This initivate serves the AGW’s mandate to support and encourage the talent and values of its audiences.
