Art Windsor-Essex respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Anishinaabe Territory – the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Today the Anishinaabe of the Three Fires Confederacy are represented by Bkejwanong. We want to state our respect for the ancestral and ongoing authority of Walpole Island First Nation over its Territory.

June 7, 2003 - July 20, 2003
AWE Gallery
Mirror Image looks back at twenty years of work by Michael Graston, editorial cartoonist at The Windsor Star. Graston’s work, humourous yet poignant, has witnessed the birth of the Mulroney era and now the dying days of the Chretien regime, lampooned four Canadian prime ministers, four American presidents, six Ontario premiers, and four Windsor mayors, has reflected insightfully on 9/11, two wars in Iraq, and other moments in history. The exhbition features over 100 originals, including items from the National Archives of Canada.
