Art Windsor-Essex respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Anishinaabe Territory – the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Today the Anishinaabe of the Three Fires Confederacy are represented by Bkejwanong. We want to state our respect for the ancestral and ongoing authority of Walpole Island First Nation over its Territory.

Peter Yeadon: Karl: An Architectural Narrative
August 4, 2001 - January 13, 2002
AWE Gallery
In Karl: An Architectural Narrative, Toronto architect Peter Yeadon presents works inspired by the city of Rome, including computer-generated drawings, fictions, and sketchbooks. His work is often called visionary and his drawings for structures are done as end products. Unlike the business of architecture, the completed building is not his goal and drawings are not mere devices by which the process is registered. Instead, he imagines a future through stories, sketches, and renderings of new monuments harvested from old, and visions of what might be.
