Art Windsor-Essex respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Anishinaabe Territory – the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Today the Anishinaabe of the Three Fires Confederacy are represented by Bkejwanong. We want to state our respect for the ancestral and ongoing authority of Walpole Island First Nation over its Territory.

Photovoice is an innovative project which uses photography to tell stories and work towards positive social change. It engages the youth of Windsor-Essex in expressing their perspectives on issues they think are important and empowers them to create positive change in their community using photography as the medium.
About the Youth Advisory Council
The Youth Advisory Council is a group of youth within Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare that connects to the community through youth-led initiatives. We strive to improve the health of our community and bring awareness to topics like mental health, poverty, social justice, and substance abuse through social media, education events, and volunteering.
