Art Windsor-Essex respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Anishinaabe Territory – the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Today the Anishinaabe of the Three Fires Confederacy are represented by Bkejwanong. We want to state our respect for the ancestral and ongoing authority of Walpole Island First Nation over its Territory.

Pride & Joy: A Community Display
August 9, 2023 - September 3, 2023
WFCU Eco-Lounge, 3rd floor
To celebrate Pride Festival, AWE is partnering with Windsor-Essex Pride Fest to showcase artworks made by local 2SLGBTQIA+ community members and our allies.
The range in materials and subject matter is representative of the diverse perspectives and experiences of members of our community. We hope that through engaging with this exhibit we can help continue the work of developing more respectful, affirming, and celebratory communities where we all belong and feel pride and joy.
