Art Windsor-Essex respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Anishinaabe Territory – the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Today the Anishinaabe of the Three Fires Confederacy are represented by Bkejwanong. We want to state our respect for the ancestral and ongoing authority of Walpole Island First Nation over its Territory.

Prologues and Epilogues: 2023 Teen Art Display
June 6, 2023 - July 31, 2023
Studio display (second floor); WFCU Eco-Lounge (third floor)
After every prologue comes a story, and after every story, there is an epilogue. Be the author of your own story.
AWE’s Teen Arts Council invited teens ages 14-18 across Windsor-Essex to display their work at AWE. The display theme is past, present, and future referring to the transitional time period that is experienced in adolescent years. Their works creatively reflect their personal interpretation of transitions and times of change. Time is moving very quickly. Why not capture it in a work of art?
The AWE Teen Arts Council is a group of teens aged 14-17 from across Windsor-Essex who have come together to create programs for teens, by teens.
We would like to thank Lisa and Brian Schwab for their generous support of the AWE Teen Arts Council and its programming.
