Art Windsor-Essex respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Anishinaabe Territory – the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Today the Anishinaabe of the Three Fires Confederacy are represented by Bkejwanong. We want to state our respect for the ancestral and ongoing authority of Walpole Island First Nation over its Territory.

Rae Davis: Unfoldings
November 24, 2001 - February 17, 2002
AWE Gallery
A pioneer of performance and computer art, Rae David focuses on the idea that what we perceive as reality is a constantly unfolding situation based on previous experience and memories, and perceptual materials available at any given moment.
This exhibition is a retrospective of her work, representing various performance pieces through animated models, slide installations, an installation of photographs with an audio component and documentary materials. Accompanying the exhibition is a book featuring a chronology of her life and a selection of her writing.
