Art Windsor-Essex respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Anishinaabe Territory – the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Today the Anishinaabe of the Three Fires Confederacy are represented by Bkejwanong. We want to state our respect for the ancestral and ongoing authority of Walpole Island First Nation over its Territory.

Sorel Etrog
February 1, 2003 - March 16, 2003
AWE Gallery
Over the past half-century, Sorel Etrog has emerged as one of Canada’s most visible artists. Although best known as an innovative creator of often large-scale metal sculptures, this exhibition prioritizes intriguing examples of his work on paper. These works, including ink, charcoal, and graphite drawings, as well as a number of intaglio prints and serigraphs, have been selected from a recent large-scale donation to the AGW.
