Surge: Rae Davis / Barbara Sternburg

Surge is a collaborative installation involving video, mixed media, sculpture, and film. The exhibition developed out of the shared interests and senibilities of film artist Barbra Sternbern and performance and installation artist Rae Davis. The work relates to the scale of the body and its place in everyday domestic arrangements as well as creating an awareness of the larger scheme of things; in the artists’ words, “it is a way of being in the world – layered, shifting, expandable, unresolvable.”
