About the Workshop

Artist Lana Talbot lead the group in the creation of a quilt-like wall installation that celebrates the rich history of Sandwichtown. Participants learned about the history of quilt making in relation to the Underground Railway as they helped to create panels for a wall hanging that highlights historical sites in the neighbourhood. Each panel contained a historical site in the neighbourhood.
