Art Windsor-Essex respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Anishinaabe Territory – the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations, comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Today the Anishinaabe of the Three Fires Confederacy are represented by Bkejwanong. We want to state our respect for the ancestral and ongoing authority of Walpole Island First Nation over its Territory.

Open Rehearsal: Windsor Symphony Youth Orchestra
Time and Date: Thursday, November 17th, 2022, 5:30pm – 6pm,
Location: 2nd floor galleries, AWE
Kick off AWE at Night with members from the Windsor Symphony Youth Orchestra! The AWE galleries will transform into an open rehearsal space hosting young musicians as they fine-tune their instruments and fill the galleries with music. Guests are welcome to engage with the musicians and contemplate the art that surrounds them.
The Windsor Symphony Youth Orchestras (WSYO & WSJYO) exist to help young people develop their talent and realize their full potential through performing orchestral music at a high caliber. However, participating in the Windsor Symphony Youth Orchestra program is not just about the music, it also involves teamwork, leadership, and dedication to the program and your craft. We strongly believe that the WSYOs develops essential lifelong skills and habits.
This event is part of AWE at Night. AWE at Night is a free event that requires gallery admission to attend. Admission to the gallery is $10. Members always have free admission.
Photography and videography will be present throughout the event. By entering this event site you agree to be filmed or photographed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes.
