Quilt Codes of the Underground Railroad with The Artists of Colour

Join The Artists of Colour for a hands-on workshop in the AWE Education Studio! Follow along as the artists share a variety of quilt blocks and colourful patterns to use as the inspiration for your own art project. The collective will explain how these and other patterns were used as coded messages for the Freedom Seekers travelling through the Underground Railroad to freedom. Step-by-step instructions along with patterns will be provided.
