Weekends in the Studio! Show Your Pride Collage with Nona Abdallah

DATE: Sunday, August 4th, 2024
TIME: 1pm- 4pm
LOCATION: 2nd floor, Education Studio
COST: Free with regular gallery admission and free for AWE members

Join us every Sunday in August for a series of vibrant and creative art activities celebrating pride and joy! Each week, we will explore a different artistic medium to express our pride, the things we love, and what brings us joy.

Explore and celebrate your gender through a creative collage activity. What do you enjoy about your gender? How do you nurture and express it? Using scraps and collage materials, create something that represents you and your favorite aspects of your gender. This can be a personal collage or a sign to get ready for Pride Fest next week. Join us to reflect on your identity and express your pride through art!

Weekends in the Studio is supported by Anne Safranyos and Family.

embracing their queer identity but has channeled that experience into
advocating for others dealing with similar struggles, particularly in balancing
